Come help with conservation, stewardship and maintenance tasks at Rolling Ridge Conservancy. As we do not yet have our spring plants, we plan to work on invasive plant removal to keep our forest in balance. Depending on weather conditions we expect to be either assisting our goats in controlling Japanese barberry (Berberis thunbergii) and Japanese spiraea (Spiraea japonica) in previously inhabited areas, or digging lesser celandine (Ficaria verna) in the lowlands adjacent the Shenandoah River.
