Join us for a morning hike with foresters and forestry experts to learn more about your local forest ecology and ways you can participate in stewardship of your own land and local forests. Get updates on the impacts of invasive insects and plants. Learn about state programs for landowners interested in making use of their forests in ways that benefit diversity, habitat and personal economics.
The morning will start with coffee and tea at the OEC lodge. From there we take a hike through a portion of our 1600 acres, with stops along the way for experts to discuss a range of topics centered around sustainable forest stewardship.
Lunch will be provided.
